Are You “All-In?”

Runner Crossing the Red Tape at the Finish LineThink about your life. Now think about your priorities. Is there one, two, or even several things that you are “all-in” on? In other words, is there something to which you are giving everything you have? Are you “all-in” in your marriage or relationship, career, health, workouts, friendships, or children or grandchildren?

What are you “all-in” on?

I have found that it takes being “all-in” in order to reap the greatest benefits. For example, not being fully committed to your health and fitness will not get you maximum results. Being half-in and half-out in your commitment to your partner in marriage will not only make the marriage weak, but the rewards of true happiness, trust, and love will eventually be lost.

Why are some so afraid to be “all-in”? Is it a lack of confidence that you are making the right decision? Is it because your choice may not be the most popular decision even though it is something you really want? Is it because no one supports your decision? How many decisions are you waiting on right now and haven’t committed to because you’re still “thinking about it”?

The utmost benefit of being “all-in” is that you get to uncover your greatest potential. You get to see what you’re truly made of. In your relationship, you will get to experience all that true love, trust, and commitment are, especially through the ups and downs. Your workouts will bring out your best and will not only make you physically strong, but you will gain mental strength that will carry into other important areas of your life such as your career. Imagine being “all-in” to your career and committing to doing your best everyday–constantly improving, and thriving.

If you’ve ever worked really hard at something, were committed to it completely, and gave it everything you had, that is where fulfillment is found. Even if you made mistakes, had to make U-turns along the way, or had to start over, the important thing is that you learned lessons through personal experience. Commit to being “all-in” today on something you’ve been sitting on the fence on. The perfect time is NOW.
